About

Suicide Prevention Australia is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health to implement a best practice hub of evidence-based suicide prevention programs and resources.  Supporting and informing PHNs’ regional approach to service planning and commissioning of suicide prevention activities is an important part of the project. 

The webinar will include an overview of Suicide Prevention Australia’s Standards. Accreditation experts, Quality Innovation Performance, have partnered with us to deliver standards that promote high quality and effective suicide prevention. The webinar panel discussion will include representatives from PHNs focused on suicide prevention accreditation and commissioning. 

The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session to delve deeper into the process, discuss learnings, benefits and tips for success in suicide prevention accreditation.  

Participants will also be informed of the one-off grants available to programs and services to implement the first cycle of accreditation against the Suicide Prevention Standards for Quality Improvement.
