About

Suicide is a global issue. It does not discriminate, and an international view on suicide prevention can provide new ideas and fresh perspectives for everyone. Understanding what is happening in other countries can translate to more effective interventions in Australia.

In this webinar you will hear from two suicide prevention experts from the United States of America. Dr Laura Shannonhouse will discuss post-traumatic growth, and recovering from adverse events. Dr Sally Spencer-Thomas will present on storytelling and suicide prevention.

This webinar is not to be missed if you want to understand some of the work that is happening internationally in suicide prevention.
