NSPC 2019 will be held at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park Hotel, in Melbourne. The hotel overlooks picturesque Albert Park Lake, which for one week of the year becomes the world’s most exciting Formula 1 racing circuit. A short tram ride from many of Melbourne’s sites – the CBD, St Kilda, South Yarra, Royal Botanic Gardens, the Shrine of Remembrance and much, much more! Pullman Melbourne Albert Park is the perfect location for guests looking to explore Melbourne’s laneways, cultural attractions, and dining precincts.
The 2019 National Suicide Prevention Conference Secretariat has confirmed rooms at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park for the benefit of Conference delegates. Delegates are encouraged to secure accommodation through the Conference Secretariat to ensure that you receive the negotiated competitive rates.
Rooms are limited and are on a first come first served basis.
Rates are only available for 21 – 26 July 2019 inclusive. Nights outside these dates can be requested but cannot necessarily be guaranteed at the same rate.
Rates include one full hot buffet breakfast served in Windows Restaurant.

Cancellations & Amendments
Cancellation of Booking
Cancellations made 30 days or less before the confirmed arrival date will incur a cancellation fee of one night’s accommodation per room cancelled. Cancellations made 14 days or less before the confirmed arrival date will incur the full accommodation amount. This includes any modifications to bookings and no shows.
We encourage delegates to book accommodation well in advance because hotels impose strict release dates for block accommodation bookings. All rooms are released 30 days prior to the meeting and therefore accommodation bookings requested after 20 June 2019 cannot be booked through the registration portal and will need to be secured by delegates through the hotels directly.
A credit card is required to complete the booking process, even if the card will not be used to pay for the accommodation.
Either one night’s accommodation rate or a credit card is required to secure your room. Delegates are required to settle their own accounts including incidentals incurred upon check out. This deposit or your credit card guarantee will be forwarded onto the hotel. The hotel will deduct the guarantee from your credit card at their discretion.
Amendments to Booking
Amendments to accommodation including hotel preference, check in/out dates and room type will only be accepted in writing to Encanta Event Management.
Early Arrival or Late Departure
Requests for early check in or late check out must be advised in writing to Encanta Event Management Pty Ltd to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that early check in may require the booking of an additional room night prior to guarantee immediate access to the hotel room.

Airport Transfers and Local Transport
Melbourne is easily accessible by air from around Australia. Melbourne Airport is located 28km from the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park.
It takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic, from Melbourne Airport to the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park by car.
Taxi ranks are conveniently located across each of the airport terminals. The journey from Melbourne Airport to the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park will cost approximately $70.00 in a sedan taxi.
Uber drivers pick up passengers from two locations at Melbourne Airport. For Qantas, International and Virgin Australia passengers, the ride-share pick up zone is lane 1 of the forecourt. For Jetstar, TigerAir, Rex or AirNorth passengers, the pick up zone is level 2 inside the T4 Ground Transport Hub.
SkyBus offers an express service from Melbourne city (Southern Cross Station) to Melbourne Airport as well as a St Kilda Express service from Melbourne Airport, stopping at four locations in St Kilda. The Fitzroy Street stop (St Kilda Station bus stop) is a 1km walk to the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park.

Melbourne Airport has six car rental companies available:
Trams travel down St Kilda Rd (numbers 3, 5, 6, 16, 64 and 67). Tram stop 27 is the closest to the Pullman Melbourne, Albert Park and is a short walk down Lorne Street to the hotel.
The closest train stations to the hotel are Prahran (located on the corner of Greville Street and Porter Street), and Flinders Street.
The closest bus stop to the hotel is located at the corner of Greville Street and Punt Road, Prahran. The stop ID number is 1115.

In the event of industrial disruption or other unforeseen circumstances, the Host, Organising Committee and Encanta Event Management accept no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delay or cancellation.
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel and medical insurance prior to coming to the Conference. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Conference, or through cancellation of the Conference itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. None of the Conference Secretariat, the Host or the Organising Committee will take any responsibility for any participant failing to insure. Please speak to your travel agent or airline in regard to this matter.
The Conference Organisers recognise that some delegates may have special dietary needs. Please advise the Conference Secretariat either via the registration form or via email if you wish for them to accommodate your dietary requirements.
Please Note: Dietary requirements received less than 72 hours prior to the event cannot be guaranteed. Kosher meals may be available, however due to kosher compliance requirements please note these will be at an additional cost.

The Victorian Government imposes a strict no smoking policy in venues, restaurants, bars and shopping centres in Melbourne.
