Pre-Conference Workshops – Monday 22 July 2019

Pre-Conference Workshops are all held at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park, and include morning or afternoon tea, and lunch (if attending both a morning and afternoon workshop). These workshops will run concurrently.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations and alterations to registrations and accommodation bookings must be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat – encanta@encanta.com.au. Should you be unable to attend, a substitute delegate is welcome. Cancellations due to failure of visa application will not be refunded.

Cancellations and “no shows” that have not paid will be liable to pay the full registration fee and any incidentals including accommodation. All approved refunds will be processed after the Conference.

Payment Policy

It is a condition of registration that full payment is received prior to the commencement of the Conference. If full payment is not received, delegates will not be admitted.

Payments can be made via the following methods:

Bank transfer: (Australian delegates only.) Bank details will be supplied on your tax invoice if requested. Please email a remittance advice to encanta@encanta.com.au.

Liability

In the event of industrial disruption or other unforeseen circumstances, the Host, Organising Committee and Encanta Event Management accept no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delay or cancellation.

Bursaries

The purpose of the National Suicide Prevention Conference bursary program is to enable individuals with a lived experience of suicide who are actively involved in suicide prevention activities, to attend the Conference. There are numerous barriers that can make it difficult for individuals impacted by suicide to attend the Conference. The availability of bursaries is intended to help overcome some of these barriers in order to ensure representation of those with lived experience in discussions and activities about suicide prevention.

Before proceeding with the application for a Bursary, it is imperative that you first read the National Suicide Prevention Conference Bursary Information Sheet.

Bursary application closing date:
All bursary applications must be received by SPA no later than 5.00pm AEST (Sydney Time) on Wednesday 08 May 2019.

Notification of status of your application:
All bursary applicants will receive communication of the outcome of their application and successful applicants will be notified by email or telephone on 5.00pm AEST (Sydney Time) on Wednesday 05 June 2019

Dates of Conference:
Bursary applicants need to be able to attend all days of the Conference, from Tuesday 23 to Thursday 26 July 2019. Bursary scholarships do not include pre-conference workshops.
