Partnering with young people with lived and living experience in research

Orygen is hosting a free webinar about the development and utility of new world-first, evidence-informed guidelines for involving young people with lived and living experience in suicide research.

Targeted at researchers, young people, funders and ethics committees, the webinar will include:

• a brief overview of the guidelines, and how they were developed;

• discussion about their potential utilisation by, and benefits for, researchers, including in ethics and funding applications;

• discussion about how young people may use the guidelines to ensure a safe and positive experience; and

• time for questions.
