Splash the Stigma

Splash the Stigma brings our community together to raise vital funds for youth mental health whilst getting active, having fun and taking on a challenge. Too often stigma stands in the way of young people getting help, and the consequences can be devastating – suicide remains the leading cause of death for young people in Australia. All funds raised through Splash the Stigma will go to batyr to provide life-changing mental health education for high school students. Choose your swim distance and complete your challenge throughout February! Dive in this February and let’s splash the stigma!

CALM Train the Trainer Program

We are looking for experienced trainers right across Australia to join our team of CALM trainers! The majority of our accredited trainers are very experienced in the mental health training sector and speak very highly of our CALM programs. CALM is becoming the most popular, in demand Suicide Intervention Skills program in Australia, and here are a few reasons why: 1. It's a one-day program, reducing client’s costs and minimizing staff absence. 2. It's Australian researched and based. 3. It's fully accredited with the peak body Suicide Prevention Australia. 4. Many participants have attended other similar programs and stated how much they love the CALM model and how it's so easy to remember. 5. Underpinned by Motivational Interviewing which research is now showing positive results for suicide prevention. 6. CALM is the only intervention program in Australia that has an app for the safety planning, and an app for the person completing the intervention as a handy prompter. 7.
