RUN THE TAN 2025

Pillars of Wisdom, Tan Track, Melbourne Near the junction of Olympic Boulevard and Alexandra Avenue, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Join elite athletes, celebrities, emergency service workers, and schools as they run the iconic Tan Track in Melbourne to raise funds and awareness for mental health charities.  There is something for everyone! The Run The Tan annual showcase charity event is on 27 April 2025. There will be 5 key race events - a public fun run event open to everyone and 4 feature events with top elite athletes, celebrities challenge, emergency service workers, and battle of the schools all trying to beat the record for the fastest lap around The Tan of 10:08 mins and get an official time while raising funds and awareness for Mental Health. One lap of the Tan is 3.827km and the official start point is at the Pillars of Wisdom near the junction of Olympic Boulevard and Alexandra Avenue. There will be limited spots available for the public fun run event.

Building Resilience The Building Resilience workshop gives participants the chance to take ownership of their mental health and build new strategies to control their thoughts and emotions. Participants reflect on the personal management of their own mental health, in collaboration with others, and end the workshop with new techniques and healthy habits. Workshop structure Building Resilience runs over four hours, with two sessions in two parts each. Through the workshop, participants move from lifestyle-based factors and strategies to cognitive and self-awareness techniques for improving mental health.
