Essentials of Grant Seeking

The  Essentials of Grant-Seeking webinar is part of Suicide Prevention Australia's new membership support for Grants and Fundraising.  A second 45 minute webinar specifically on GEM Local will follow. Qualifying members receive exclusive access to the Strategic Grants platform, GEM Local, which has over 6,500 grants across multiple sectors and funding resources. This benefit is for not-for-profit members who have an annual revenue under $1 million. The Essentials of Grant-Seeking Webinar will step you through best practice principles of grant seeking including getting your organisation grant ready, planning your projects, engaging with funders and writing applications. Presented by Laura Carlton, of Carlton Creative and Consulting, and Roxanne Sanjar of Key Integrity Systems, who both have extensive experience working with for-purpose organisations throughout Australia. The GEM Local Introductory Training will guide you through setting up and using GEM Local. You will learn how to identify prospects that match your organisation's funding needs, track applications and manage funder reporting requirements within the GEM Local system. The Accidental Counsellor 4-day T4T Virtual Workshop Receptionist and front counter employees are often at the frontline and first contact with a client. If that contact presents as aggressive, angry, or upset sometimes it’s not easy to find a response to diffuse or sooth a situation. The Accidental Counsellor 1-day workshop equips staff how to handle difficult scenarios and provides a helpful, appropriate response.
