Tread Together National Community Challenge

Tread Together is a national community suicide prevention event taking place on 25-26 May across hundreds of communities and involving thousands of Australians.

This event was started by community, for community. It has its roots back in 2013, when a group of friends from Maroubra in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, who were bereaved by suicide, started a 24-hour community treadmill challenge event to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention.

Suicide Prevention Australia (SPA) acknowledges the founders of this event and the passion and effort of everyone who's been involved in the journey so far. Thank you for being part of creating Australia’s largest ever suicide prevention community challenge. We invite everyone in the country to be a part of Tread Together, as we continue to grow these events and engage even more Australians each year.

For the second year running, Suicide Prevention Australia is partnering with Anytime Fitness to hold this national 24-hour treadmill challenge event in support of suicide prevention.

The Tread Together event series will take place across hundreds of Anytime Fitness clubs throughout Australia, bringing together people from all across the country, moving as one to raise much-needed awareness of suicide and funds towards its prevention. You can get involved either as an individual or as a team, and can choose to run, walk, or even dance, for as little as 15 minutes.
