Hanan Al-Alawneh

Hanan is the Multicultural Mental Health Prevention Coordinator at the Queensland Transcultural Mental Health Centre (QTMHC). She recently led the CALD Suicide Prevention Project at QTMHC. Her professional experience also includes coordinating a transcultural post disaster mental health recovery project, providing cultural expertise as a bicultural worker, and working as a facilitator for BRiTA Futures, a program focused on acculturation stress and resilience building. Hanan has previously worked in Community Services sector in Brisbane.

Hanan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Allied Health from Jordan and is currently furthering her study in Psychological Sciences.
