About the role
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Everymind team and contribute to the efficient and effective day-to-day completion of project activities and deliverables in collaboration with other project staff. Although there may be future opportunities to work across other programs at Everymind, the current vacancy is within the Life in Mind program, which is a knowledge exchange portal providing translated evidence, policy, data, and resources in suicide prevention.

We are a leading national Institute dedicated to the prevention of mental ill-health and suicide with a vision of empowering people and organisations to implement change – for themselves, for each other, and for the future. Located by the beach in the heart of Newcastle we are a non-clinical service working at a local, state, and national level, funded through government, industry, and private sector grants. The Institute has a long-standing reputation for designing, implementing, and evaluating tailored policy advice, research, and programs.
Our passionate and supportive team is multidisciplinary encompassing projects, research, communications, and administration.
About you
We are looking for a project officer who ideally has experience in the mental health and suicide prevention sector and has solid writing skills. Experience in data interpretation and translating detailed or complex information into easy-to-understand material would also be beneficial.
