Job Purpose:
The Executive Assistant/Office Manager role plays a pivotal role in supporting the CEO and Company Secretary and the entire organisation in ensuring compliance, efficiency, and operations. You will be responsible for coordinating executive support, board and committee activities, team coordination, office management, and project support. This role requires a strong commitment to adhering to policies and procedures.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Provide executive-level support to the CEO, managing expenses, travel, and correspondence.
- Coordinate meetings, manage events, and ensure efficient workflow for the CEO.
- Support the Company Secretary in board and committee meetings, handle attendance, and prepare necessary documents.
- Facilitate clear communication between the executive team and staff.
- Manage office facilities, supplies, and compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with special projects, events, and initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business, with c-suite executive support is a must.
- Intermediate/Advanced IT experience is a must.
- Minimum tertiary qualifications: Diploma in Business or Human Resources.
Experience & Skills:
- Proficiency in preparing and reporting data.
- Strong administrative, numeracy, verbal, and written skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Strong time management skills.
- Sensitivity to people affected by suicide.
Technical Skills:
- High-level skills in Microsoft Office and other publishing applications.
- Ability to learn new technologies.
- Understanding of Not-for-Profit governance processes and structures.
