About Graeme Holdsworth

Biography: Graeme Holdsworth was an architect who spent most of his career in Project Management. He has been Project Director for major building projects throughout Australia, for both the private sector and government, including No.1 Martin Place, Sydney and Crown Casino, Melbourne.

He is retired now, in a large part, due to serious depression which saw him lose his career, his marriage and then nearly his life through a suicide attempt. Since his recovery, he decided rather than attempting to go back to his old career he would use his lived experience working for suicide prevention.

He is currently a member of Lifeline Lived Experienced Advisory Group, a member of Suicide Prevention Australia Policy Committee, and a member of the Expert Advisory Group to the National Suicide Prevention Adviser to the Prime Minister.
