National Suicide Prevention Conference 2020 Cancelled
Following extensive consideration, Suicide Prevention Australia has made the difficult decision to cancel the National Suicide Prevention Conference, Canberra on 20-23 July 2020.
With the current advice from the Australian Government and the escalation of the COVID-19 risk, this decision was deemed necessary to protect the health and safety of delegates, staff, suppliers, speakers and the general public.
As you may know, the Australia Government has determined that all non-essential gatherings of 500 people of more are banned from 16 March 2020 due to COVID-19 until further notice.
While the conference is an incredibly important annual event for suicide prevention, our duty of care is paramount.
