1 May 2016

We are pleased to announce that our Head of Communications, Kim Borrowdale has been awarded the first ever International Learning and Development Grant from The Ian Potter Foundation! This was one of 127 grants awarded in this period.

SPA and its members are very grateful to The Ian Potter Foundation for this invaluable knowledge sharing opportunity. Over the next few weeks Kim will be meeting with a range of our UK colleagues including organisations likeSamaritans and Rethink Mental Illness, as well as the The Alliance of Suicide Prevention Charities (TASC) and The National Suicide Prevention Alliance (NSPA).

You are welcome to get in touch by email if you have a question you'd like Kim to ask or a suggested contact. She will be sharing some of the information she has learned at our National Suicide Prevention Conference in July as well as via our eNews and social media. Thank you again to the team at The Ian Potter Foundation for supporting ‪#‎SuicidePrevention‬ and safe travels Kim!
