R U OK? in Trucks and Sheds

National Day of Action – 16 May 2023 R U OK? and Healthy Heads in Truck & Sheds have teamed up to ensure people in the road transport, warehousing and logistics industries know when and how to meaningfully connect and genuinely ask “are you OK?” of those in their workplace who might be struggling with life. Together, the two mental health promotion charities have launched ‘R U OK? in Truck & Sheds’, an industry-wide movement to drive conversations in the workplace. Workplaces in these industries are encouraged to organise their own events and can find a variety of resources at www.healthyheads.org.au/ruok

R U OK?Day 2023

R U OK?Day is a national day of action when we remind Australians that every day is the day to  ask, ‘are you OK?’ and start a meaningful conversation whenever they spot the signs that someone they care about might be struggling with life. R U OK?Day 2023 is Thursday 14  September.

R U OK? Bay of Fires Fundraising Trek

Support R U OK? in the stunning Bay of Fires Tasmania is a trekkers dream, famed for its fresh air, spectacular scenery and unique wildlife - you will be enthralled and inspired every step of the way. This challenge will take you through diverse Tasmanian landscapes, as you trek along endless stretches of secluded beaches with fiery rocky headlands, wander through forests with hidden waterfalls and marvel at striking coastlines with pristine water. In December 2023 we will embark on the R U OK? Bay of Fires Trek, one of Australia’s greatest natural beauties. We cover 35 kilometres over 4 days. Their mission is to empower people to meaningfully connect and lend support by building the motivation, confidence and skills of help-givers to start conversations with anyone struggling with life. But we need your support. The funds you raise on the R U OK? Bay of Fires Trek 2023 will go towards funding nation-wide campaigns to help better prepare people to look out for their mates and have life-changing conversations. R U OK?’s vision is a world where we're all connected and protected from suicide.
