On behalf of Suicide Prevention Australia, we invite you to join us online for the launch of our updated National Policy Platform and to hear from Suicide Prevention Australia and Policy Committee members about our priorities for the next term of Parliament.
Our National Policy Platform plays a central role in guiding our policy and advocacy priorities for suicide prevention. We’ve seen major reforms achieved from our current platform including the appointment of the Assistant Minister for Suicide Prevention, establishment of a National Suicide Prevention Office and the delivery of Suicide Registers in the majority of jurisdictions.
Over the past six months we’ve been working with our Policy Committee and right across our membership to review and update the National Policy Platform ahead of the 2022 Federal election.
