LivingWorks safeTALK in Schools is a half day, face-to-face workshop. Delivered from a proven evidence-base, this program is the first school suicide first aid training program developed in Australia. LivingWorks safeTALK in Schools demonstrates the importance of suicide alertness and helps teachers, support staff, and students identify ways people invite help when they’re at risk before a crisis. The program teaches a simple yet effective model to engage with people with thoughts of suicide and connect them with resources that can carry out a full-scale intervention.
