Regardless of whether you are a therapist working with clients to achieve long term gains in behavioural change, or emotional recovery, the benefits of brief interventions for suicide prevention are unquestioned.
This workshop delivered by Suicide Risk Assessment Australia presents the theoretical underpinnings for therapeutically potent suicide Safety Plans, together with practicing techniques and strategies to work collaboratively with people experiencing suicidality.
This workshop also provides the Lethal Means Safety Plan template, which facilitates the therapeutic brief intervention, of lethal means safety counselling.
This workshop can be delivered online via zoom as 4 x 1.5 hour interactive webinars, or whole day workshops (face to face or online). Given the critical importance of role-play practice in this workshop, all participants should be prepared to engage deeply in the interactive components.
