A national suicide prevention telephone and email helpline for parents experiencing distress relating to their relationship breakdown and/or contact with their children. Parents Beyond Breakup ensure that support extends to the extended circle surrounding a parent.
The helpline is staffed by highly trained, Lived Experience ‘peers’ who have themselves experienced family breakdown and hopelessness / suicidality.
The helpline operates Mon-Sat, 8:30am – 5pm AEST (Sydney/Melbourne time zone). If operators are busy taking other calls, please leave a voicemail and a call back service is available.
