The Suicide Prevention Coordination team works to build community capacity to prevent and respond to suicide. The roles of the Perth Metro Suicide Prevention Coordinators include:
– To initiate, coordinate, manage and support the development, implementation and evaluation of suicide prevention, intervention and postvention activity in the Perth metro area.
– Build the capacity of the community and relevant service providers to enable them to better identify and address local suicide-related issues through evidence-based prevention activity.
