Suicide Risk Assessment Australia delivers this workshop to equip people in a work setting to take a leadership role in the prevention of suicide in the workplace.
These sessions can be delivered online as 4 x 1.5 hour interactive webinars, or whole day workshops (face to face or online). Critical learning outcomes include the ability to identify suicidality when mental health symptoms are not evident. Further, we use role play to practice and consolidate the experience of undertaking a suicide prevention check-in, together with the development of a Support plan and referral.
Finally, we answer the questions that others won’t, including factors to consider when supporting a person return to work following suicidal crisis or attempt, how to manage suicidality in the context of change management, disciplinary procedures and performance management.
