WINGS of Hope (WOH) is managed by CCNB and supports people and their communities bereaved by suicide, through reducing isolation and preventing harm. It provides resources, linkages and direct support, and is especially focused on children and families. WOH works closely with front line professionals and has an expanding network of people with professional expertise and lived experience of suicide. It offers care navigation and practical supports, such as funeral arrangements, assistance with daily living (such as child care, shopping, etc.), comfort by talking to family members, access to counselling, liaising with the police, as well as assisting with managing legal issues.
