Learning from lived experience

The Lived Experience Network (LEN) is made up of people from across the country who have been brought together by experience and are united by hope. We believe that the wisdom gained by those with lived experience of suicide must be used to inform suicide prevention.

Champions for Life, Sarah and Sophie recently completed the half marathon at the Melbourne Marathon Festival and raised funds in support of suicide prevention initiatives in memory of Sarah’s beloved brother, Dan.

Dear Friends, it is with great sadness that I need to share with you that one of the great stalwarts and powerful voices for lived experience, most recently in her role as National Mental Health Commissioner, Jackie Crowe, sadly died this weekend.
