About the forums

In 2022, our commitment to knowledge exchange will be stronger and more targeted with grassroots States in Focus Forums events in key locations across the country.

The forums will include a diverse range of speakers including MPs, world-class researchers, experts in suicide prevention and voices of lived experience.

Some event highlights include LivingWorks SafeTALK training; networking activities with refreshments; and fireside chats with speakers and representatives from the Joint State Committees.

QLD Forum – Registration closed

With the theme of ‘Inspiring research and connection’, we’re looking forward to connecting face-to-face for the QLD States in Focus Forum. During the 1.5 day event, we’ll hear from a range of speakers including MPs, world class researchers, lived experience voices and more.

Living and/or Lived Experience Registration Assistance

Suicide Prevention Australia values the integral role that lived and/or living experience plays in discussions and activities about suicide prevention. We acknowledge there can sometimes be barriers that make participation at events difficult.

We are pleased to announce that we will be providing a small number of registrations for individuals with a lived or living experience of suicide to attend the upcoming QLD States in Focus Forum.
