In 2025 the Suicide Prevention Competency Framework for the Mining Industry in Western Australia was released. This document provides a framework for organisations associated with mining in Western Australia to use in developing strategies, policies, procedures and training for suicide prevention specifically, and managing psychosocial hazards more broadly. Along with the Framework, Suicide Prevention Australia developed five introductory emodules to help introduce the key concepts of suicide prevention for those involved in mining. These are available on Learnlinc, and are available for uploading to a company website or LMS, either in web-ready files, or SCORM 2.0 files.
