Essentials of Grant Seeking

The  Essentials of Grant-Seeking webinar is part of Suicide Prevention Australia's new membership support for Grants and Fundraising.  A second 45 minute webinar specifically on GEM Local will follow. Qualifying members receive exclusive access to the Strategic Grants platform, GEM Local, which has over 6,500 grants across multiple sectors and funding resources. This benefit is for not-for-profit members who have an annual revenue under $1 million. The Essentials of Grant-Seeking Webinar will step you through best practice principles of grant seeking including getting your organisation grant ready, planning your projects, engaging with funders and writing applications. Presented by Laura Carlton, of Carlton Creative and Consulting, and Roxanne Sanjar of Key Integrity Systems, who both have extensive experience working with for-purpose organisations throughout Australia. GEM Local Tutorial

Strategic Grants will deliver a 45-minute tutorial on the new GEM Local service – one of our member offerings. The GEM Local Introductory Training will guide you through setting up and using GEM Local. You will learn how to identify prospects that match your organisation's funding needs, track applications and manage funder reporting requirements within the GEM Local system. All GEM Local subscribers have access to regular live refresher webinars to assist them in using the platform. Our suicide prevention workshops are based on the latest research in suicide prevention and are designed to teach people how to identify the signs that someone may be at risk of suicide, how to engage and appropriate action to take.
