Become a CALM Yarn Trainer

May 20 @ 9:00 am - May 23 @ 5:00 pm

The CALM Yarn 4-day T4T Workshop

The CALM Yarn workshop is a one-day workshop that teaches four key actions: Connect, Ask, Listen, Monitor to build confidence, knowledge and skills. Developed in partnership with the Indigenous Peoples Team at Richmond Fellowship Queensland.

The T4T is effectively delivered over 4 days in-person. This ensures that all participants understand the theories, principles and models that underpin the CALM Yarn program; fully grasp and are able to demonstrate their ability to explain and use the culturally appropriate CALM Yarn model of intervention, and gain confidence in their ability to competently deliver this program to their participants.

Selection Criteria

The CALM Yarn is an indigenous suicide intervention program and the T4T is open to those that identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander or work on country.  Please use this weblink to access an Expression of Interest application form:
