Doing It Tough is excited to host its first online workshop ‘what works when supporting men?’

The free, 1.5 hour workshop will explore best practices in non-clinical male support pathways with opportunities to hear from service providers, ask questions, and share your learnings. This will build on the Australian Mens Health Forum (AMHF) resource ‘Making services work for men’ with a specific focus on suicide prevention initiatives in the following areas: promotion, structure and culture.

The workshop will be hosted by Glen Poole, CEO of AMHF, and will include a panel discussion from expert non-clinical support services that focus on male suicide prevention. The panel discussion speakers include:

Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss their own learnings in dedicated breakout rooms, where all information will be collected and developed into a key learnings resource. There will also be time for a Q&A with the panel speakers.

Funded by NSW Health, Doing It Tough is a partnership between Suicide Prevention Australia and Australian Men’s Health Forum.
