Glen is the Program Coordinator of the Marcus Mission Program, which is an initiative of Wesley Mission QLD. Glen has been working in the welfare sector for more than 20 years, with the majority of this work focussed on suicide prevention. Glen has a Masters Degree in Suicidology and is passionate about using his knowledge and lived experience to empower others to make a positive impact in the community.
The Marcus Mission Program aims to reduce the risk of suicide for men in Queensland by taking an upstream approach to build community and individual resilience. The Marcus Mission Peer Mentor Network empowers men to build skills and confidence to help their mates and their community.
