Graham McLean joined the Board of Suicide Prevention Australia in 2021 as an independent director and chaired the Audit and Risk Committee. He became Chair of the Board in May 2024. He lost his son to suicide in 2020, aged 24. Graham is an experienced senior executive leader with extensive service in the medical technology industry in Australia, Asia and Europe, most recently with Stryker as President Asia Pacific. Graham is currently Chair of ASX listed CleanSpace Holdings Pty Ltd, Chair of Universal Biosensors inc. and Director at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Ltd and
Graham has also served with a number of community and industry associations over many years and sits on advisory boards and committees. He is passionate about improving mental health outcomes and preventing suicide through better facilities, services and advocacy, particularly for younger people.
Graham is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Qualified Accountant (both CIMA and CPA).
