Neami National’s Reach Out and Connect Training is a lived experience developed and facilitated training about suicide awareness, destigmatising suicidality and supporting people to respond to distress. The training includes statistics surrounding suicide includes elements of lived experience from facilitators and supports participants to reflect on their own lived experiences. Reach Out and Connect has been delivered a wide audience including those at risk of suicide, the general public, local Councils, peer workers, clinicians, carers, those working in the housing sector, and service providers.
