The Role
As the Commissioned Services Manager you will provide strategic counsel and assistance to the General Manager, Commissioning Coordinator, and Program Managers to facilitate the achievement of program and service goals. You will advocate for an evidence-based approach to commissioning, emphasising transparent reporting, and fostering a commitment to enhancing program outcomes. You will aim to direct program activities towards the attainment of program objectives while aligning with StandBy National goals and Youturn’s Strategic Priority areas.

Selection Criteria
Education: tertiary qualification in health, social services or a business discipline, with post graduate qualifications in public health, health policy and planning or similar well regarded.
Experience: five years’ experience in a leadership role within the health, community or social services sectors
Commissioning: Demonstrated understanding of commissioning processes and service delivery in a community partnership environment.
People Management and Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading, developing, and contributing to a multi-disciplinary and multi-faceted team across geographical locations. Including interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and conflict and negotiation skills.
Contract and Project Management: Strong project and contract management experience, systems thinking and the ability to apply them in a complex work agenda that integrates across programs.
Stakeholder engagement and Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to nurture strong working relationships with various sectors, including government, non-government and the postvention sector.
Analytical Insight: Demonstrated highly analytical, synthesis and problem-solving skills
Other Requirements:
Successful applicants will also need to hold a ‘C’ class Open driver license, State Working with Children Check, and hold, or be eligible to apply for, a Licensed Care Suitability Check issued by the QLD Department of Child Safety, Youth Justice, and Multicultural Affairs
