The Stay ChatTY Sports Program delivers free evidence-based mental health literacy workshops to sporting clubs across Tasmania to support clubs in raising mental health awareness, reducing stigma, promoting help-seeking, and encouraging helping behaviours among teammates. The Sports Program offers four separate workshops – ChatTY Minds for junior athletes and coaches/parents, Building Mental Muscle for senior and adult athletes around understanding mental health and wellbeing, and Stress2Strength for senior and adult athletes around managing stress on and off the field. The Stay ChatTY Sports Program also supports clubs in organising mental health awareness sporting matches and rounds.
